  • Descrizione: A king asks his astronomer to let him look at the sky through a telescope. The astronomer tells him all about the moon, Saturn and Jupiter. The king, fascinated with the idea of travelling to the planets, has a dream in which he makes the journey by scaling a long ladder up into the sky. Once he arrives, he is subjected to the wrath of the gods Saturn and Jupiter. This film falls into the genre of phantasmagoria: amazing and wonderful journeys conjured up through visual trickery that works to enhance the storyline. Chomón also combined studio filming with shooting on location and gave the piece something of a humorous tone.
